Savino Carlone is a seasoned backend developer with over 25 years of experience, specializing in C#, C++, and SQL. He has built high-performance and enterprise systems across industries including sports broadcasting, banking, and ERP, working with organizations such as Deltatre, Banca Sella, and Dylog. Today, he leads development on a web-based ERP platform, collaborating remotely with a small, agile team.
Beyond his professional work, Savino is deeply engaged in the developer community. He co-leads the Torino .NET Users Group under the .NET Foundation—now nearly 1,200 members strong—collaborates with Codemotion, and co-hosts a monthly Devs Book Club focused on software development.
Outside of tech, Savino has written for national sports publications, coached youth football since 2008, and enjoys playing keyboard. He is passionate about mentorship, community, and using software to bring people together.
